What is the Least Healthy Food In Your Home Right Now?

Today I ask you, what is the most unhealthy thing you have in your home?

Now I know the majority of my readers are women with husbands, or kids, so maybe I should rephrase this question… What is the most unhealthy thing you have eaten in the past week? Month? Or what is the most unhealthy thing you have in your pantry or fridge for YOU.

Its a good question. Well, think about it.

Now you should have a hard time with this. I know I did. Thinking about it I’m like… mustard? Oat bran? Steak?

Its so hard to think of the most unhealthy thing you are eating when everything you are eating is healthy! This is such a great thing to realise. I am not starving myself, and yet, everything in my house is healthy, and I am happy with that. I hadn’t even realised!

Now take it back to a little over 10 months ago… what was the most unhealthy thing I had in my house then? Oh man, I have a hard time with this as well, but only because there are SO MANY options.

Kraft Dinner? Twizzlers? Pringles? The frozen dinners I was eating every day? The sugary cereal for my breakfasts? The muffins, cookies, ice cream? They are all so bad for me and any one could compete for the place of ‘unhealthiest food item’ in my home 10 months ago… not anymore!

A little something to think about and maybe if your answer came a little faster than mine (for instance, the chips you have tucked away as an emergency snack) just chuck ‘em. If you let it into your home you are inviting it into your stomach and wouldn’t you feel so much better without the temptation?

Anyways, make good choices today you guys!

    But since I have a few very precious bottles, there is no way I will throw them out!!! (But also no way I will simply open them when there is no occasion!).

  2. Nothing!! Everything in my fridge, freezer and pantry is Dukan friendly... woo hoo!!!
    10 months ago... Chips... Salt and Vinegar potato chips... my favorite... ever... I don't miss them, I swear I don't :D

  3. Sugar free sweets! Technically you can have upto 5 per day on Dukan, but, they are still junk which I would prefer not to eat. I suppose I'm comprimising, for me s/f sweets are better than eating something non-dukan. Once the weight loss is over however I wont be eating any sweets sugar free or not, I will eat fruit! xoxo

    1. You know what, I don't have or feel the need for the sugar-free jello or fruit yogurt anymore now that I can eat the fruit... I think you are onto something here!

      I did eat more than my fair share of these during the first 2 phases, sometimes eating the entire 5 a day or more. But now... I don't touch them!

      Fruit makes all the difference, Hmmm. Interesting. :)

I have 6 small chocolate lint eggs from easter. hubby and I bought an egg each as our bad bad badness, because Dr Dukan sent out a newsletter saying to just have a little if you want it, but don't go overboard and push through it the next day. Long story short, the one egg we bought came with 3 smaller ones.

    We have left them in a container for....not sure why actually...neither of us actually want them! hehhe

    1. Get them out of your house sweetie!

      Give them to friends, coworkers, family, throw them out!

      You don't need that temptation in your life ;)
